13 cities in Odisha recorded minimal temperature beneath 10 diploma Celsius with G. Udayagiri in Kandhamal district being the coldest place within the state at 4.7 diploma Celsius, the Met workplace stated on Tuesday (December 17, 2024).

The minimal temperature at Rourkela was 5.7 diploma Celsius adopted by Similiguda in Koraput district at 7.2.
