5 Of Household Together with Couple, Two Kids Drown After SUV Falls Into River In Uttarakhand

New Tehri: 5 folks of a household from Faridabad drowned when the SUV they had been travelling in fell right into a river in Tehri district of Uttarakhand early on Saturday, police stated. 

A Mahindra Thar carrying six folks crashed close to Bagwan village on the Badrinath Nationwide Freeway at round 6 am and fell into the Alaknanda river, Devprayag Station Home Officer Mahipal Singh Rawat stated. 

One lady was rescued by the State Catastrophe Response Pressure (SDRF). 

In accordance with the SHO, the household from Faridabad had been on their solution to attend a wedding in Gauchar in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, when the accident occurred. 

The deceased have been recognized as Sunil Gusain (44), his spouse Meena, their son Dhairya (14) and daughter Sujal (12), and Aditya (16), son of Madan Singh Gusain. 

Aditya’s mom Anita was rescued and hospitalised with severe accidents, the SHO stated. 

Sunil Gusain was driving the automotive, he stated. 

The deceased couple and their two youngsters had been residents of 4800 Sainik Colony in Faridabad, whereas Aditya was a resident of Durga Colony in Roorkee. 

The our bodies had been recovered after hours of search operation performed in Alaknanda river by the deep divers of SDRF and police personnel, the SHO stated. 

He stated the our bodies have been despatched to Base Hospital in Srikot in a authorities ambulance.
