5 skiers discovered lifeless on glacier in Switzerland; one other skier killed by avalanche

Valais cantonal police mentioned Sunday the group of victims was situated on the Adler Glacier following aerial and floor searches after two hikers reported seeing deserted skis close to the Rimpfischhorn, a 4,000-meter peak within the Valais Alps.

Formal identification of the victims continues to be underway, and their nationalities haven’t but been launched.
