9 Together with DRG Jawans Killed In IED Blast In Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur | India Information
At the least 9 folks, together with eight Dantewada District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawans and one driver, have been killed after their automobile was blown up by Naxals by way of an improvised explosive system (IED) blast in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Monday, police mentioned.
In line with Bastar Inspector Common (IG) Sundarraj P, the jawans have been coming back from a joint operation of Dantewada, Narayanpur, and Bijapur police when the blast occurred.
The incident happened close to Ambeli village underneath the Kutru police station when the safety personnel have been returning of their Scorpio automobile after an anti-Naxalite operation, Inspector Common of Police (Bastar Vary) Sundarraj P mentioned.
The DRG is a unit of the state police. That is the most important strike on safety personnel by Naxalites within the final two years, an official mentioned.
On April 26, 2023, ten police personnel and a civilian driver have been killed after Naxals blew up their automobile, which was a part of a convoy carrying safety personnel in neighbouring Dantewada district.
