11 Passenger Trains Stranded In Spain Energy Blackout: Ministry

Practically 9 hours after a blackout introduced the Iberian peninsula to a standstill Monday, Spain’s transport minister mentioned 11 trains remained stranded with passengers on board.

“Assist remains to be wanted for 11 trains. Energy has been restored to the management centre of the Atocha (station),” Transport Minister Oscar Puente wrote on X.
