Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s mom Nirmal died on Friday (Might 2, 2025) night at a personal hospital in Mumbai as a consequence of previous age-related illnesses, a supply stated.

She was 90.

“Nirmal Kapoor ji handed away right now at round 5:20 p.m. as a consequence of age-related points at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital a couple of days in the past,” the supply informed PTI.

Her final rites can be held on Saturday morning at Pawan Hans crematorium.

Nirmal Kapoor was married to movie producer Surinder Kapoor, with whom she had 4 youngsters — Anil, Reena, Boney and Sanjay.

Her grandchildren embrace Sonam Kapoor, Rhea, Harshvardhan, Arjun, Janhvi, Khushi and Anshula, Shanaya, Jahaan, and Mohit Marwah.
