Who could have the higher hand: Israel or Iran?

It’s been a number of days now since Israel launched its shock assault on Iran.
The battle has since escalated with both sides launching dozens of strikes.
And since the warring sides don’t share a border, the assaults have largely been targeted on air strikes.
Whereas Iran might have the most important inventory of missiles and drones within the Center East, Israel’s air pressure is taken into account probably the most highly effective on the earth – and its air defence system, probably the most superior.
And extra crucially, Israel has the backing of the USA.
So is one navy at a transparent benefit?
Will the size of the battle make a distinction?
And are there different components at play on this battle?
