Eighth DRM Cup cricket tourney begins in Vijayawada

Divisional Railway Supervisor (DRM) Narendra A. Patil inaugurated the 8^th DRM Cup on the Railway Mini Stadium on Thursday.

In complete, 15 departments of South Central Railway (SCR) will take part within the 20-over white-ball league matches. The DRM and different department officers performed a pleasant exhibition recreation between Railway Safety Power (RPF) and Diesel Loco Shed groups on the inaugural.

The tournaments will conclude on December 20, 2024. The winners might be chosen for the zonal and nationwide degree tournaments, the DRM mentioned.

Senior Divisional Safety Officer Valleswara B. Thokala, who’s the Divisional Sports activities Officer, and the DRM thanked the State Financial institution of India (SBI), Railway Station Department, for sponsoring the event.

The DRM emphasised the facility of teamwork and collective motion in attaining extraordinary feats. “Such tournaments are the platforms for scouting younger skills,” Mr. Narendra A. Patil mentioned.

The DRM interacted with the captain of all of the groups and wished success.
