A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck off the east coast of the Kamchatka area in Russia on Tuesday (July 22, 2025), the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) mentioned.
The quake was at a depth of 28 km (17.4 miles), EMSC mentioned.
