McDonald’s India unveils ‘Protein Plus Slice’ 

McDonald’s India (West & South), operated by Westlife Foodworld, has introduced the launch of ‘Protein Plus Vary’, that includes 100% vegetarian, plant-based ‘Protein Slice’ that provides 5 grams of protein to any burger.

The Protein Plus Slice has been developed in collaboration with the CSIR-Central Meals Technological Analysis Institute (CFTRI), underneath the Ministry of Science & Expertise, Authorities of India.

Constructed from 100% vegetarian components, together with soy and pea, the Protein Plus Slice incorporates no synthetic colors or flavours and is free from onion and garlic, making it appropriate for a variety of dietary preferences, the corporate stated.
