Vehicular motion banned from Hondarabalu check-post to Ok. Gudi until September 27

Vehicular motion on a stretch of highway between the Hondarabalu check-post and Ok. Gudi has been banned from July 28 to September 27, to facilitate highway growth works.

Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar Shilpa Nag has ordered a ban on the motion of visitors on the stretch in view of the event works taken up on chosen sections of Nanjangud-Biligiri Rangana Betta or B.R. Hills highway on SH 80, between Chamarajanagar and Ok. Gudi, particularly on the stretch between the 53.40 km mark and 62.90 km mark.

Therefore, all kinds of vehicular motion from Chamarajanagar to B.R. Hills through Ok. Gudi, ranging from the Forest Division’s Hondarabalu check-post as much as Ok. Gudi, are prohibited from July 28 to September 27.
