Justice Dept. fires, prices staffer who admits throwing sandwich at federal agent deployed in D.C.

A person who admitted throwing a sandwich at a federal regulation enforcement officer deployed in Washington, D.C., labored on the Justice Division and has been fired, Legal professional Common Pam Bondi stated Thursday. 

In response to charging paperwork, Sean Dunn allegedly threw a “submarine-style sandwich” at a Customs and Border Patrol officer stationed at a busy intersection in Northwest Washington, D.C., on Sunday. 

In video of the incident that was cited within the prices, Dunn may be seen yelling on the agent and different officers in his neighborhood earlier than throwing the wrapped sandwich on the officer’s chest. Dunn tried to flee on foot earlier than being apprehended, paperwork and video of the incident exhibits.

In response to the affidavit, Dunn yelled, “F*** you! You f***ing fascists! Why are you right here? I do not need you in my metropolis,” earlier than crossing the road. He later returned and threw the sandwich. Dunn, in keeping with the paperwork, confessed after he was arrested, telling regulation enforcement, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.”

In a publish on X Thursday, Bondi wrote she had “simply discovered that this defendant labored on the Division of Justice — NO LONGER. Not solely is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony.”

“That is an instance of the Deep State we have now been up towards for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ,” Bondi continued. “You’ll NOT work on this administration whereas disrespecting our authorities and regulation enforcement.”
