Minister for Tourism, Tradition and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh on November 26 (Tuesday) stated to advertise Andhra Pradesh’s wealthy historical past, music and tradition on a world scale, a three-day occasion known as ‘Krishnaveni Sangeetha Neerajanam’ could be organised at Thummalapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada, from December 6.

He stated that the programme could be collectively organised by the Union Ministry of Tourism and Tradition, Sangeet Natak Akademi and Andhra Pradesh State Division of Tradition and Tourism. The Minister, together with officers of the Union Ministry of Tourism and Sangeet Natak Akademi, met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and invited him to the occasion.

He stated the platform would even be utilised to showcase and promote conventional arts and crafts, delicacies and the lesser recognized vacationer locations of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from Carnatic music, a wide range of cultural displays would enthrall the viewers and focus would even be on promotion of tourism, particularly eco-tourism, journey tourism, regional tourism and wellness tourism along with growth of tourism circuits, he stated.
