Round 9.84 lakh candidates are showing for the exams being held at 2,683 centres throughout the state, an official of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Schooling mentioned.
“The three-hour exams, which began at 11 am, are continuing easily with none untoward incidents or main complaints to this point,” board president Ramanuj Ganguly informed PTI.
Of the 9,84,753 candidates, 5,55,950 are women, he added.
Carrying cellphones and different digital devices contained in the examination corridor is strictly prohibited. Even invigilators and officers tasked with conducting the exams usually are not allowed to carry digital units into the corridor.
