A CRPF jawan allegedly killed two of his colleagues and injured eight others earlier than taking his personal life at a camp in Manipur on Thursday, official sources stated.
The incident befell at a Central Reserve Police Drive (CRPF) camp in Lamphel situated within the Imphal West district at round 8.20 pm, they stated.
Accused Havildar Sanjay Kumar opened hearth from his weapon, killing a constable and a sub-inspector of the pressure on the spot. He later turned the gun on himself and has been declared lifeless, the sources stated.
The accused was from the one hundred and twentieth battalion of the pressure.
Eight CRPF personnel have been injured within the firing and so they have been shifted to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal, they stated.
The reason for the incident is being investigated and there was no official phrase from the pressure instantly.
