The BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah defeated AAP’s former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in Jangpura. Additionally, Chandan Kumar Choudhary received the Sangam Vihar seat and Neeraj Basoya the Kasturba Nagar seat for the saffron get together.
Elections for the 70 seats of the Delhi meeting have been held on February 5. A voter turnout of over 60 per cent was recorded within the single-phase polls.
