After the incident, rescuers rushed to find survivors on Saturday. Out of the 50 folks rescued within the avalanche, 4 have been declared useless. 5 staff stay trapped. Rain and snowfall hampered the rescue efforts on Friday, and the operation was suspended because the night time fell. Because the climate cleared up on Saturday, choppers joined the operation.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed an aerial survey of the affected space and directed officers to hurry up the rescue operation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Dhami and warranted him of full help.
District Catastrophe Administration Officer N Ok Joshi mentioned the rescue operation was resumed within the morning by Military and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel based mostly in Mana.
