‘Shocked and devastated’: Karnataka DGP on stepdaughter Ranya Rao’s arrest

Karnataka police officer mentioned he was unaware of his daughter’s arrest, was shocked, and mentioned that the regulation will take its course.
Karnataka senior police officer Ramachandra Rao, whose daughter and actor Ranya Rao was arrested at Bengaluru airport on Monday with 14.8kg of gold, mentioned he was “shocked and devastated.”
Rao, who’s the Director Common of Karnataka State Police Housing Company, mentioned he was unaware of the incident till it was reported within the media.
“As a father, I used to be shocked and devastated after I realized about it,” the senior police officer advised ANI.
“She is just not residing with us, she resides individually along with her husband. There should be some drawback between them as a consequence of some household points. Anyway, the regulation will do its job. There isn’t a black mark in my profession. I do not need to say something extra,” he added
