New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner gained the toss and opted to bat in opposition to India within the Champions Trophy last in Dubai on Sunday (March 9, 2025).

New Zealand made one change, bringing in Nathan Smith for injured Matt Henry, whereas India named an unchanged enjoying eleven.

It was for the twelfth time in a row that India captain Rohit Sharma misplaced the toss in an ODI.
