Kunal Kamra slams T-Sequence for blocking ‘Naya Bharat’ video on YouTube

Comic Kunal Kamra on Wednesday, 26 March, criticised Bollywood studio T-Sequence, alleging that his stand-up particular ‘Naya Bharat’, which has kicked up an enormous controversy over jokes focusing on Maharashtra deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, was flagged for copyright violations on YouTube.

Kamra on Wednesday dropped a brand new video from the comedy particular, during which he carried out a parody of ‘Hawa Hawai’ from Mr. India to criticise Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her insurance policies.

The songs from Mr. India, which featured Anil Kapoor and late cinema star Sridevi, belong to the T-Sequence label.

Kamra shared a screenshot from YouTube on X, which confirmed ‘Naya Bharat’, his new video, has been blocked on account of copyright restrictions and subsequently will not be seen to viewers. As a result of copyright claims, the video won’t be able to generate income as effectively.
