After Beed in Maharashtra, sarpanch killed in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur

A lady sarpanch was allegedly murdered by unidentified individuals at her home in Chhattisgarh’s tribal-dominated Jashpur district on Tuesday, simply over a month after being elected as the top of her village, police stated.
The incident happened at round 12 midday when the sufferer, Prabhavati Sidar (37), was within the vegetable backyard within the yard of her home in Dongadarha village underneath Tumla police station space, a police official stated.
