The Authorities of India has conferred the distinguished ‘Prani Mitra’ Nationwide Award, the nation’s highest honour for animal welfare, to Anant Ambani’s Vantara beneath the ‘Company’ class. The award recognises the contributions made by the Radhe Krishna Temple Elephant Welfare Belief (RKTEWT), an organisation beneath Vantara that appears after the rescue, remedy, and lifelong care of elephants.
Vantara’s Elephant Care Centre serves as a sanctuary for over 240 rescued elephants, providing them a protected and enriching atmosphere. Amongst its residents are 30 elephants previously utilized in circuses, over 100 rescued from the logging trade, and lots of others free of exploitative actions like road begging and vacationer rides. The award was introduced by the Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying at a ceremony in New Delhi on Thursday.

Vantara’s Elephant Care Centre homes the world’s largest elephant hospital, combining allopathy with different remedies like Ayurveda for power circumstances and acupuncture for ache reduction.
