Indian Grandmaster Arjun Erigaisi is just six factors behind chief Fabiano Caruana within the FIDE Circuit standings forward of the World Fast and Blitz Championships that may get underway in New York from 26 December. The 2024 FIDE Circuit provides one spot for securing qualification within the 2026 Candidates event, and at the moment Fabio Caruana (First rank) and Arjun Erigaisi (Second rank) are preventing for that spot.
Caruana has 130.42 ranking factors whereas Arjun has 124.40 ranking factors. Caruana took the lead within the FIDE Circuit rankings after profitable the 2024 Saint Louis Masters earlier in December. Caruana clinched 16.39 factors following the victory. Arjun, then again, completed the 2024 Qatar Masters Open in second place.
Each Fabio and Arjun have performed seven tournaments every within the FIDE Circuit. Arjun
