As Amit Shah arrives in Kashmir, three extra separatists give up Hurriyat, pledge allegiance to Structure

Amid the arrival of Union House Minister Amit Shah within the Kashmir Valley, three senior separatist leaders — Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdul Rashid and Bashir Ahmad Andrabi — publicly renounced separatism and distanced themselves from Hurriyat factions on Monday.
All three leaders have been associates of the Hurriyat faction headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. Mr. Naqash headed the Islamic Political Social gathering J&Ok; Mr. Rashid was the chairman of the Muslim Democratic League J&Ok; and Mr. Andrabi headed Kashmir Freedom Entrance.
In separate however equally worded statements, these leaders introduced allegiance to the Structure of India and denounced affiliation with separatist agendas.
“…my group and I’ve no connection or affiliation by any means with APHC(G), APHC(A), their members, or some other entity pursuing separatist agendas. We firmly disassociate ourselves from the ideology of APHC, because it has failed to deal with the aspirations and grievances of individuals in Jammu and Kashmir successfully,” they stated within the statements.
The APHC stands for All Events Hurriyat Convention (APHC), which got here into being in 1993 within the wake of raging militancy in Kashmir and sought decision of the Kashmir concern as per the resolutions of the United Nations (UN). I’m a loyal citizen of India, and each my group and I owe allegiance to the Structure of India,” the statements stated. “We don’t affiliate with any group or affiliation that acts in opposition to Indian pursuits instantly or not directly,” they added.
There was a collection of such public renunciation of separatism by separatist leaders previously one month in Kashmir. It’s for the primary time since militancy broke out in 1990 that separatists issued such statements.
