P.V Sindhu aka Pusarla Venkata Sindhu was honored by Padma Shri award by the president of India Sh. Pranab Mukherjee in 2015. She is the first Indian to win 2 singles at World Championship. She was born in Hyderabad where we have Charminar and Golconda fort. The moment PV Sindhu won the silver medal in the Olympics in Badminton Indian media started a controversy that Indians were searching for the caste of P.V. Sindhu.
In her interview, she told that she traveled 27 km’s daily to do badminton practice and that hard work paid off years later when she created history and made all the India proud.
