The King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, visited the Mahakumbh on Tuesday and took a holy dip on the Triveni Sangam.

Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the king carried out rituals like providing ‘arghya’ to the Solar earlier than taking the dip.

Wangchuk and Adityanath had been joined by Uttar Pradesh ministers Swatantra Dev Singh and Nand Gopal Gupta through the dip together with newly-made Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das ji Maharaj often known as Satua Baba, in line with photos shared by the state authorities.
