Bihar: BPSC aspirants lathi charged, Congress calls for probe

Congress chief and NSUI (Nationwide College students’ Union of India) in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar launched a scathing assault on the state’s NDA authorities, demanding a judicial probe into each the lathi cost and the alleged examination irregularities.
“The lathi cost on college students in Patna is not only unlucky — it’s a shameful reflection of the authoritarian mindset of the Nitish-Modi regime in Bihar,” he mentioned, addressing a press convention in Delhi.
“Our calls for are clear: there should be a good, time-bound judicial inquiry into the lathi cost, and fast motion in opposition to the officers accountable. Secondly, the BPSC should be audited. Repeated allegations of corruption, mismanagement, and paper leaks have shattered the religion of Bihar’s youth within the system,” Kumar mentioned.
