BJP Blames Siddaramaiah Govt For Bengaluru Stampede, Says ‘Felony Negligence’

The celebrations following Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) maiden victory in IPL ultimate in 18 years, turned tragic after a stampede outdoors M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru claimed as many as 11 lives on Wednesday.
Quickly after the tragedy, a political slugfest erupted with many leaders holding the Congress-led state authorities accountable for the incident.
Union Minister of Client Affairs Pralhad Joshi blamed the Siddaramaiah-led authorities for taking “pressing and unlucky resolution” whereas referring to gathering of crowd close to the stadium.
Taking to X, Joshi tweeted, “Seven folks died in a stampede in Karnataka. It’s heartbreaking to see such loss due to poor planning and crowd mismanagement. The state authorities in Karnataka has clearly failed in its accountability. Celebrations is one factor, however the State authorities with out correct planning, with out taking emergency companies into confidence, took this pressing and unlucky resolution. This might have been averted. The Authorities is chargeable for this and accountability must be mounted.”
