Black Field Recovered from Rooftop in Air India Crash Website Says AAIB

The Plane Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on Friday clarified that the Digital Flight Knowledge Recorder (DFDR), generally known as the black field, recovered from the rooftop of a constructing on the web site of the Air India Flight AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad.

“Readability on confusion: DFDR (Digital Flight Knowledge Recorder) itself is the black field,” stated AAIB.

The AAIB has launched a full-scale investigation following the Air India flight crash on Thursday, with over 40 employees from the Gujarat State Authorities becoming a member of efforts to help the Ministry of Civil Aviation groups on the bottom. 

“Opposite to some studies, the video recorder being circulated will not be the DFDR (Digital Flight Knowledge Recorder). The black field was discovered on the rooftop.
