Blast in Punjab firecracker manufacturing facility claims 5 lives, a number of injured

5 individuals have been killed and practically 30 others injured in a blast in a firecracker manufacturing and packaging unit close to a village in Lambi in Punjab’s Sri Muktsar Sahib district, police mentioned on Friday.

The blast befell within the two-storey manufacturing facility unit situated on Singhawali-Kotli street in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Lambi’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Jaspal Singh, advised PTI over telephone, including that migrant labourers labored on the unit.
