Break silence: Cong to PM on repeated US claims on India-Pak ceasefire

The US President has been repeatedly claiming that he helped settle the tensions between India and Pakistan.
India carried out precision strikes below Operation Sindoor on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir early on 7 Could in response to the 22 April Pahalgam terror assault which killed 26 individuals, and which India claimed was orchestrated by The Resistance Entrance, an affiliate of the banned Pakistan-backed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Following the Indian motion, Pakistan tried to assault Indian army bases on 8, 9 and 10 Could. The Indian forces launched a fierce counter-attack on a number of Pakistani army installations, and the Indian Military later claimed 30-40 casualties amongst Pakistan’s armed forces.
India and Pakistan reached an understanding on 10 Could to finish the army confrontation after 4 days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes in addition to heavy artillery shelling by Pakistan on civilian areas alongside the Line of Management, inflicting a number of fatalities amongst Indian civilians.
On 10 Could, US President Donald Trump was the primary to announce that India and Pakistan had agreed to a full and speedy ceasefire after a protracted night time of talks “mediated” by Washington.
