Canadian Nationwide Held In Varanasi After Calling Bomb Hoax On IndiGo Flight

The Indigo flight had taken off from Varanasi on Saturday when the Canadian nationwide passenger, Nishant, stated that there was a bomb inside it.
Akash Patel, DCP, Gomti zone, Varanasi, in a video on the social media platform X, knowledgeable that emergency protocol was initiated after the data was acquired and the flight landed at Varanasi airport. After checking the bags of passengers, it was decided that the bomb data was a hoax.
He stated, ” Yesterday, on twenty sixth April, a passenger within the IndiGo flight which took off from Varanasi, stated that there was a bomb contained in the flight. After that, emergency protocols have been initiated, and the flight was made to land at Varanasi airport. The airplane and the bags of the passengers have been checked. Later, it was discovered that the data was a hoax.”
The DCP added that Nishat gave this data and was handed over to the police. Within the interrogation, it was revealed that he gave the hoax to delay the airport operations.
“The passenger, Nishant, who gave this data, a Canadian citizen, was handed over to the Police. All the safety businesses interrogated him, and it was revealed that he had given false data to delay the airport operations,” he continued.
DCP Patel additionally acknowledged that an FIR is being registered in opposition to Nishant below acceptable sections and that the Canadian Excessive Fee may even be told.
