CBSE examination delayed at Ranchi centre resulting from ‘scarcity’ of query papers

RANCHI: The CBSE board examination at a Ranchi centre was delayed by an hour from its scheduled begin time resulting from an alleged “scarcity of query papers,” in accordance with some dad and mom. Nevertheless, the centre head stated that the delay was brought on by technical points, which have been resolved by the CBSE in time, and extra time was supplied to the scholars.
About 500 college students are registered to sit down for the exams on the centre.
The examinations for Courses 10 and 12 of the Central Board of Secondary Schooling (CBSE) started in Jharkhand on Saturday. Greater than 31,000 college students from Ranchi and Khunti zones are enrolled to take the exams, an official stated.
The Class 10 exams commenced with the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) papers on Saturday. The exams have been scheduled to start at 10:30 am and conclude at 1:30 pm.
A mother or father claimed, “The examination could not begin on time resulting from a scarcity of query papers for some college students on the centre.”
The centre head, who didn’t want to be quoted, stated that the delay was resulting from technical points.
“The problem was shortly resolved by the CBSE, and the examination proceeded easily with extra time given to college students,” he added.
Regardless of repeated efforts, the CBSE co-ordinator and principal of Sarla Birla College Paramjeet Kaur couldn’t be reached for her remark.
