China sanctions 13 US army corporations over Taiwan arms gross sales

China on Thursday introduced sanctions towards 13 American army firms. This motion follows the US approval of arms gross sales to Taiwan and the transit of Taiwan’s president by means of US territory.
China opposes any interplay between Taiwan’s leaders and overseas governments. The arms sale, which incorporates spare elements and help for F-16 jets and radars, totals $385 million. China views these gross sales as a violation of its sovereignty.
“China considers Taiwan its personal territory, and its President Lai Ching-te a harmful separatist. It opposes any overseas interactions or visits by the island’s leaders,” the Chinese language overseas ministry mentioned.
Among the many sanctioned firms are Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc., BRINC Drones Inc., Protect AI Inc., Speedy Flight LLC, Pink Six Options, SYNEXXUS Inc., Firestorm Labs Inc., Kratos Unmanned Aerial Techniques Inc., HavocAI, Neros Applied sciences, Cyberlux Company, Domo Tactical Communications, and Group W.
Six executives from Raytheon, BAE Techniques, and United Applied sciences face asset freezes in China and entry bans. Chinese language residents and organizations are prohibited from conducting enterprise with these people.
