The Ministry of Exterior Affairs on Friday slammed Bangladesh over its ‘unwarranted feedback’ on violence in Bengal over the Waqf Act.
“We reject the remarks made by the Bangladesh facet with regard to the incidents in West Bengal. Bangladesh’s chief advisor on Thursday refuted MHA’s report and stated, “We strongly refute any makes an attempt to implicate Bangladesh within the communal violence in Murshidabad. Three individuals have been killed in communal violence in Shamsherganj, Suti, Dhulian and Jangipur areas of Murshidabad district, which has a Muslim majority inhabitants, throughout protests towards the Waqf (Modification) Act on April 11 and 12.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has introduced that her authorities is not going to implement the amended Waqf regulation, which goals to control the administration of Muslim charitable properties.
