When my spouse opposed them, she was assaulted. The accused tore her garments,” the woman’s father informed police.
“The preliminary incident was not reported to me. Now, a written grievance has been acquired, following which an FIR underneath IPC sections 376 (rape), 354 (assault or legal power) and 506 (legal intimidation) has been registered towards 5 males,” mentioned Hafizpur SHO Ashish Kumar.
