Delhi Constable Killed Over Rebuking Public Ingesting, 2 Arrested

The 30-year-old constable was killed allegedly after he rebuked two folks for consuming on the highway in outer Delhi, police stated on Tuesday.

In line with the 400-page chargesheet, Sandeep Malik was performing his evening obligation in civil garments on September 29 when he noticed Dharmender (39) and Rajnish (25) consuming in a automobile within the Nangloi space.

An official, citing the chargesheet, stated that when Sandeep Malik rebuked the accused, an argument broke out between them. They rammed their car into Sandeep Malik’s bike, dragging it for 10 meters.

Following this, Sandeep suffered important head accidents and was rushed to a hospital by the opposite policemen. Docs declared him useless on arrival, officers stated. The incident was captured on the CCTV digital camera, round 2.15 am.

A 400-page chargesheet was filed at Tis Hazari courtroom on December 27.

The police in its chargesheet have made two folks – Dharmender and Rajnish the primary accused whereas two others – Jitender alias Jeetu and Manoj Shareman — have been named for harbouring Dharmender.

Each Dharmender and Rajnish have been arrested.

A senior officer stated that the police have made a watertight chargesheet to make sure justice for the constable and his household.

Delhi Police had registered an FIR below sections 221 (obstructing public servant in discharge of his public capabilities, 132 (Assault or legal pressure to discourage public servant from discharge of his obligation), 103 (homicide), 249 (harbouring offender) and three(5)(acts finished by a number of individuals in furtherance of frequent intention) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Nangloi police station.

The investigations revealed that the accused have been recognized to Sandeep Malik as he was a resident of the identical locality at Veena Enclave in Nagloi.
