Delhi Meeting Elections: The ballot battle in Delhi is heating up with every passing day, because the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Get together (AAP) go all out in opposition to one another over varied points. In a bid to spice up its ballot marketing campaign, the BJP has introduced Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath to Delhi’s battleground. On Thursday, he stepped up his assault in opposition to AAP nationwide convener Arvind Kejriwal and cornered him over the problem of Yamuna cleansing.

The UP CM, who held his first ballot rally within the nationwide capital on Thursday, threw an open problem to Kejriwal asking him to take a shower in Yamuna together with his ministers. “If as a Chief Minister, my ministers and I can take a dip within the Sangam in Prayagraj, then I need to ask the president of Aam Aadmi Get together in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, can he go and take a shower in Yamuna together with his ministers?” Adityanath stated.

On Friday, Delhi BJP chief and Kejriwal’s rival from the New Delhi constituency within the Delhi Meeting polls, Parvesh Verma echoed Yogi Adityanath’s “dip in Yamuna problem” to the previous Delhi CM.

Talking to information company ANI, Verma stated, “…Your complete world is watching how the Uttar Pradesh Authorities and CM Yogi Adityanath have made such good preparations for crores of individuals (at Maha Kumbh 2025)…He did what he stated. Then again, former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal stated repeatedly that if he could not clear Yamuna by 2025, do not vote for him. I can not perceive how is he asking for votes at this time”.

The Delhi Meeting elections will happen in a single section on February 5, and the counting of votes is ready for February 8. The Congress, which was in energy for 15 consecutive years in Delhi, has suffered setbacks within the final two meeting elections and has did not win any seats.

In distinction, AAP dominated the 2015 and 2020 meeting elections, successful 67 and 62 seats, respectively, out of a complete of 70 seats, whereas the BJP secured solely three and eight seats in these elections.
