Determined For Little one After 7 Years Of Marriage, Delhi Girl Steals New child

Unable to conceive regardless of being married for seven years, a girl from south Delhi lied to her husband that she was pregnant, went to the Safdarjung Hospital, kidnapped a one-day-old lady and took her residence. Mother and father of the new child alerted the police and the lady was arrested inside 4 hours. 

Officers stated a person from Yashwant Place in Chankyapuri known as the police management room round 4 pm on Tuesday and stated his new child daughter had been stolen from Safdarjung Hospital by an unknown girl. His spouse, the person informed the cops, had given delivery to their daughter on the hospital on Monday. 

The police started going by way of CCTV footage of the hospital and surrounding areas and seen a suspicious girl, who was seen speaking to the sufferers after which leaving with a child. The footage confirmed that the lady had boarded a practice from AIIMS metro station after which travelled in several instructions to confuse potential investigators. 

She was seen deboarding at Hauz Khas metro station and hailing an auto from there. After officers checked the registration numbers of a number of autos, a driver confirmed that he had dropped the lady at Gullak Wali Gali in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. 

The police reached the home of the lady, recognized as Puja Patni, and arrested her. Throughout interrogation, Patni stated she had been married for seven years however had no youngsters. She lied to her husband that she was pregnant and left residence on Monday on the pretext of getting admitted to a hospital and returned the subsequent day with the infant lady.

The lady has been reunited along with her household.
