Devendra Fadnavis has requested Dhananjay Munde to resign as minister: sources

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has requested state minister Dhananjay Munde to resign, in opposition to the backdrop of his shut aide Walmik Karad being named as an accused within the homicide of Beed sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, sources stated on Tuesday, 4 March.

The sources stated deputy chief Minister Ajit Pawar met Fadnavis on Monday evening, 3 March, to debate the fallout of the CID’s chargesheet filed within the Deshmukh homicide case and two associated instances wherein Karad been named accused primary.

“Fadnavis has requested Dhananjay Munde to resign as minister immediately,” a supply stated.

Munde, the state meals and civil provides minister, is the NCP MLA from Parli in Beed district. He was earlier the guardian minister of Beed.

Presently, NCP head Ajit Pawar is the guardian minister of Beed district together with Pune.
