Fireplace breaks out on Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’ units; no casualties reported

A hearth broke out on the units of Dhanush’s upcoming movie Idli Kadai in Anuppapatti village, Theni, Tamil Nadu, on Saturday (April 19). Thankfully, no casualties have been reported.

In accordance with ANI, the crew had accomplished a schedule on the Anuppapatti set earlier than the fireplace broke out. Visuals present the broken set designed to copy a road of homes and outlets.

Studies additional state that the crew had left the set intact and moved to a distinct location to shoot, with plans to return to the set later. The reason for the fireplace is at present being investigated.

Idli Kadai, the fourth directorial of actor Dhanush, is slated to hit the screens on October 1, 2025.

The movie stars Nithya Menen and Arun Vijay in distinguished roles. Nithya Menen is reuniting with Dhanush after their hit film Thiruchitrambalam (2022).

With music scored by GV Prakash Kumar, the movie has cinematography by Kiran Koushik and enhancing by Prasanna GK. The movie is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Movies in affiliation with Aakash Baskaran’s Daybreak Footage.
