Foot-Tapping Music, Soulful Renditions Mark Finish Of Republic Day Celebrations

Foot-tapping melodies and the majestic backdrop of a setting solar over Raisina Hills mesmerised the viewers at Vijay Chowk on Wednesday through the Beating Retreat ceremony, marking the end result of the 76th Republic Day celebrations.
From “Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja” and “Aye Watan Tere Liye” to “Ganga Jamuna” and “Bharat Ke Jawan” — bands from the Indian Military, Navy, Indian Air Drive (IAF) and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) performed 30 foot-tapping tunes earlier than a distinguished viewers comprising President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, amongst others.
