Gold chain misplaced in KSR Bengaluru-bound practice recovered

A gold chain misplaced by a passenger throughout her practice journey was recovered by the upkeep crew of South Western Railways in Mysuru and handed over to the authorities for protected return to the proprietor.
An announcement from the South Western Railways Mysuru Division on Sunday (June 15, 2025) stated a passenger named Sangavi, who travelled by Practice No. 16231 (Tiruchirappalli – KSR Bengaluru) on June 8, 2025, in Coach B1 complained via RailMadad that her gold chain was misplaced after a go to to the restroom, suspecting that it may need by accident fallen into the bathroom.
The grievance was registered underneath the class of Misplaced Property and adopted up when the coach was indifferent at Mysuru after the journey for its major upkeep schedule.
“Performing promptly on the grievance, the Upkeep Workforce, through the strategy of dismantling and cleansing the bio-toilet tank, recovered the misplaced gold chain. The retrieved merchandise was instantly handed over to the Railway Safety Pressure (RPF) for mandatory procedures and protected return to the rightful proprietor,” stated the assertion.
Stating that the case “demonstrates efficient co-ordination and dedication of the workers and safety personnel in guaranteeing the restoration and return of valuables and belongings that had been left or misplaced by the passengers,” the Divisional Industrial Supervisor of SWR, Mysuru Division, Girish Dharmaraj Kalagonda stated passengers are inspired to promptly report any loss or inconvenience via RailMadad, enabling well timed response and help by the involved groups.
