The Union authorities has appointed Income Secretary Sanjay Malhotra as the brand new Governor of the Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI), in response to CNBC-TV18.
Malhotra succeeds Shaktikanta Das because the Governor of RBI, who has held the workplace since 2018.
Malhotra has been appointed because the Governor of RBI for a tenure of three years from December 11 (Wednesday).
