Palestinian militant group Hamas mentioned Saturday (March 8) that it sees “constructive indicators” for launching talks over the second part of the Gaza ceasefire.

Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif al Qanou mentioned in an announcement, “The efforts of Egyptian and Qatari mediators proceed to push for the complete implementation of the ceasefire settlement and the beginning of the following part, and the indicators are constructive.”

Qanou added that Hamas was prepared to start negotiations. “The delegation of leaders from the motion (Hamas), which has been in Cairo since yesterday, is discussing methods to provoke the negotiations for the second part and compel the occupation (Israel) to attend,” the spokesperson added.
