Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed his condolences following the demise of Pope Francis, calling him an emblem of compassion, humility, and non secular braveness.
In a heartfelt message posted on X, PM Modi prolonged his condolences to the worldwide Catholic group and paid tribute to the Pope’s enduring legacy.

Reflecting on the Pope’s life and repair, PM Modi mentioned, “From a younger age, he devoted himself in the direction of realising the beliefs of Lord Christ. He diligently served the poor and downtrodden. For individuals who have been struggling, he ignited a spirit of hope.”
Whereas recalling his conferences with Pope Francis, PM Modi added that Francis’s affection for the individuals of India will at all times be cherished.
“I fondly recall my conferences with him and was tremendously impressed by his dedication to inclusive and all-round growth. His affection for the individuals of India will at all times be cherished.
