MUMBAI: A huge fireplace broke out within the slum space of Goregaon in Mumbai on Thursday, stated Brihanmumbai Municipal Company (BMC) officers.
“A level-2 fireplace was reported within the slum space of Goregaon at about 7:30 pm. Almost 150-200 hutments got here in touch with the fireplace. The hearth has been doused. No accidents reported,” BMC stated.
A blaze broke out at Freemasons Corridor in Mumbai’s Fort space on February 15.
4 fireplace tenders have been deployed to comprise the blaze, and firefighting operations are at present underway. No casualties have been reported within the incident.
