IIT Delhi Prof. Manmohan Prasad Gupta to take cost as new director of IIM Lucknow | Training

IIT Delhi’s Professor Manmohan Prasad Gupta will quickly turn into the Director of the Indian Institute of Administration (IIM) Lucknow. The institute introduced this in a short press launch on Wednesday.
“IIM Lucknow is happy to announce that Prof. Manmohan Prasad Gupta, at the moment serving as Professor at IIT Delhi, shall be taking cost because the institute’s Director shortly,” the official assertion learn.
Who’s Professor Manmohan Prasad Gupta
Prof. Gupta is a distinguished college member on the Division of Administration Research, IIT Delhi. He earned his B.Tech from Harcourt Butler Technical College (previously Harcourt Butler Technological Institute), Kanpur. He then accomplished his M.Tech (1985) and Ph.D. (1990) from IIT Delhi.
Prof. Gupta started his educational profession at IIT Roorkee, the place he served as a Lecturer from 1990 to 1996 and as an Assistant Professor from 1996 to 1997. He joined IIT Delhi in 1997 as an Assistant Professor and has remained with the institute since then. He was promoted to Professor and has been on the HAG (Greater Administrative Grade) scale since 2017. He at the moment holds the Modi Basis Chair Professorship at IIT Delhi.
Who will Professor Manmohan Prasad Gupta succeed
Professor Gupta will succeed Prof. Archana Shukla, at the moment the Director-in-charge of IIM Lucknow. She was reappointed to this position on 4 April 2024, following the completion of her five-year time period. Her reappointment was made by the Chairperson of the IIM Lucknow Board of Governors, N. Chandrasekaran, and is efficient till an everyday Director is appointed.
