The India Meteorological Division (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Idukki, and Kottayam districts of Kerala. A yellow alert has been given for 4 different districts.
