Indictment row: Rahul calls for Adani’s arrest, accuses govt of defending him

“The purpose is he must be arrested. As we have now stated, tons of of persons are being arrested on tiny expenses and the gentleman has been indicted in america for hundreds of crores. He must be in jail… The federal government is defending him,” the previous Congress chief stated.

Gandhi was the primary to demand the arrest of Adani after expenses of alleged bribery have been made out by the US in opposition to the businessman.

Earlier, Adani’s lawyer Mukul Rohtagi stated there aren’t any particular expenses in opposition to the businessman or his associates and the accusations of bribery are very common and no specifics on who gave the bribe to whom will not be specified.

In the meantime, immediately’s Lok Sabha session has been adjourned for the day with a number of Opposition leaders calling out loud for dialogue on the Sambhal violence and the Adani case, refusing to take their seats till they have been heard.
